An Adze is a tool like an axe however the blade is approximately 90° to the handle. It is an ancient and versatile cutting tool used for various woodworking tasks including trimming, shaping and smoothing wooden surfaces and as a hoe for agriculture and horticulture.

Manufactured by Agfa-Werk AG, Munich, Germany from 1949 until 1958.
