On August 4th 2020, a huge explosion in the heart of Beirut killed hundreds of people -- it was part of a sequence of events that have led to Lebanon's unprecedented challenges. Dalal Mawad was in Lebanon when the blast happened, and was one of the first journalists to report on the explosion. Now, after years of reporting on the victims and on Lebanon itself, she sees it as one more stitch in the fabric of Lebanon's painful history.
