1976. Letter written to Mrs Dudley from the National Maritime Museum of London, giving brief history of the sailing ship 'Gilmore'. It was this ship that brought Thomas Peel and his ill fated settlers to Woodmans Point (Then named Clarence)on New Year's Day in 1829.
