The Darracq car was probably a 14-16 horsepower, bought by Lucius Manning in October 1910. He is listed as a recent buyer in a West Australian advertisement by the Deane Motor Car & Cab Co., Perth. This company was the sole agent for Darracq cars in Perth at the time.

Arthur Patrick Joyce, born 1896. Date of service 6/6/1916 to 18/8/1917 with the 44th Battalion, 3rd Division, 11th Brigade. Returned to Australia 3/7/1917. The Joyce family lived in the Jandakot area at the time and his name appearson the Banjup Roll of Honour.
